Parking
On the northside, the Vista Point parking lot is free and open 7 am to 7 pm daily with a 4-hour time limit. Metered parking is available in the southeast parking lot.
Local Tips
The best way to see the Golden Gate Bridge is walking along the pedestrian walkway or biking along the other side. The Bridge is 3.6 miles long and the easy walk takes about 1-2 hours. Warm clothes or a jacket are essential if you are taking the breezy walk or bike ride across. Dogs allowed on leashes.
