A: If you're trying to snap the perfect picture, the best shots are usually caught in the early morning and at late sundown, therefore the best times to visit. Because of limited parking spaces, taking public transit to the Bridge is highly recommended; however, the Southeast Side Visitor Parking Lot has a variety of visitor services, scenic views and a café.
A: The best viewpoints for the Golden Gate Bridge are on the west side from the Marin Headlands with the San Francisco skyline as the backdrop. Baker Beach is on the Northwest side and offers beautiful views and some of the most famous photos of the Bridge have been shot from Battery Spencer.
A: The Golden Gate Bridge spans 1.7 miles. It connects San Francisco with Marin Headlands and Sausalito. You can also rent bikes in San Francisco and ride across the Bridge to Sausalito.
A: Tolls will rise from $5 to $6 for those who pay with Fas Track and and for those who pay by License plate it can be anywhere from $6 to $7.
